  • Mmm-Mmm-Good!

This is a great podcast not only for the movies we watched as kids but for classic films, too! Sprinkled in with John Hughes and schlocky action movies from the 80s and 90s are some from the Golden Age of Hollywood. They include ones you have definitely watched, like The Wizard of Oz, ones you should have watched, like Double Indemnity, and ones you’ll be sorry you watched, like Seven Brides for Seven Brothers! Add this to their love for Erika’s favorite genre, the “unintentional comedy,” like M... more

  • Riffing extraodinaire

As many have said, even listening to Erika and Paul talk about things I care not a whit about is vastly entertaining. Every time I listen, I want to go watch what they’re discussing right away. The back and forth on tangents distract me maybe a bit too much while working but it’s worth it. And, for anyone who doesn’t have a Le Creuset to defend yourselves, anything will do. For example, I keep a fairly hefty bust of Edgar Allen Poe on my nightstand to fend off any intruders. Adios and ciao!

  • 100% recommend!

I stumbled on this podcast while binging ’what went wrong’ and never looked back. It’s like watching your favorite movies with hilarious friends (often while driving. Where else do you get to do that? ).

Come for the nostalgia and stay for the insights and absolute hilarity.

I’ve recommended this to everyone I know and have so far not been unfriended.

  • My darling Clara,

Winter has been harsh, and the battles continue. Aside the memory of your sweet face, only one bright spot lifts my spirits: the podcast That Aged Well. Venerables Paul and Erika delight me with their retellings of cherished histories. Their bell-like laughter reminds me of your mirth. In addition, their veritable friendship is strong and true, like my fondness for you. I confess all my spare time has been imbibing their episodes. When this unpleasantness concludes, and I return to your arms, l... more

  • Can’t stop listening!

I discovered That Aged Well a few months ago, and have since been devouring their entire archives. It’s like hanging out with two of your hilariously sarcastic best friends as they view the movies and tv shows of your youth through a lens that is nostalgic and sentimental while also being ruthlessly (and appropriately!) critical of how well those movies and shows have or have not aged. I listen while driving, and so many episodes have me laughing so hard I almost have to pull my car over. And si... more
