  • Essential Listening

Bradcast and the Green News Report are factual, and packed with news others do not cover or contextualize. I never miss an episode. I highly recommend it to everyone who wants non corporate news especially election coverage. Bradcast helps me through difficult times with thoughtful analysis and snarky content! Thanks Brad and Desi for all the years of hard work and real talk, you’re the best!!

Not only currently that they vote against their own teachings for backing trump but when pres Carter ran for a 2nd term they voted against pres carter a real genuine evangelical and sunday school teacher his whole life over poser ronnie reagan another false prophet like trump. face it, white evangelicals as a group are not serious nor smart people. Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

'BradCast' 12/9/2025 (Guest: Dr. Michael E. Mann on COP30 failure and authoritarian petro-states undermining climate science)
Q: What does it mean that the clock is running out on climate action?
It refers to a finite carbon budget; if emissions continue as they are for just a few more years, we could lock in irreversible climate impacts.
'BradCast' 12/9/2025 (Guest: Dr. Michael E. Mann on COP30 failure and authoritarian petro-states undermining climate science)
Q: What made the Brazil Summit a failure?
It lacked commitment to phase out fossil fuels and comprehensive agreements, with major fossil fuel producers, including the U.S., blocking the way forward.
'BradCast' 12/8/2025 (Guest: Dan Becker of the Center for Biological Diversity on Trump's rollback of U.S. fuel efficiency standards)
Q: Was there ever any rules in place, whether it was under Biden or under the Obama rules that would have prevented any of these automakers from making whatever cars they wanted?
No, there were never restrictions on what automakers could produce; they simply preferred to sell gas guzzlers for higher profits.
'BradCast' 12/8/2025 (Guest: Dan Becker of the Center for Biological Diversity on Trump's rollback of U.S. fuel efficiency standards)
Q: Is he wrong about that?
Yes, that number is exaggerated. The cost of better technology is less than the savings at the gas pump, meaning that Trump's claims about saving money are fabricated.
'BradCast' 12/8/2025 (Guest: Dan Becker of the Center for Biological Diversity on Trump's rollback of U.S. fuel efficiency standards)
Q: Can you walk us through how each one of them sort of happens downstream from this one rulemaking decision or when it's officially enacted?
The rollbacks will save gas and thus save money at the pump, but they will also lead to increased pollution and carbon dioxide emissions, worsening global warming.
