It really is worth my time. Including that segment in all its variations. I like the cultural, personal opinions. It humanizes the hosts for me in a way the political takes never will. I don’t agree with a fair amount of the conservative opinions but I like all the hosts and therefore listen and consider different viewpoints than my own. I listen to The Dispatch because it’s smart and sane and trustworthy. The personal touch adds a lot for me. And I would listen to Megan talk about food all day ... more
Always a great and educational back and forth among host and panelists. One of the most thoughtful and best podcasts out there! However, if they introduce Sarah Isgur in the intro just delete and wait until next week. She has nothing to add other than the hackiest anti-anti-Trump talking points. Her arguments are the most rote and predictable nonsense that we’ve all sadly become used to in the latest political era. Your ears will bleed from her voice and attempt to not sound like a cross between... more
On Not Worth Your Time segment, Steve’s addition to it, I enjoy it! Somedays, well a lot of days lately, the regular news can be a downer. Listening to you folks talk about food, books even parking cars can bring a bit of levity to the day and it’s good to hear your laughter and good natured kidding. It certainly brightens my cold January days. Thank you Steve!
This show as are all Dispatch podcasts is an informative discussion on pertinent topics that occupy the current news cycle as well as personal takes on a non-imperative topic; the ‘not worth your time’ final minutes.
Still like it slightly better than the Bulwark, but the whole podcast is the dump on Trump hour. Weekly repeating predictable echo chamber.
