I have never reached out to a podcast but with my anxiety about flying feeling worse now that I have 2 kids, I reached out to Grant. Wow the quick and caring response I received was like talking to someone that I have known for years.
Thank you! This podcast has made a huge difference for me and I will be recommending it!
Your shows are the most intuitive, best structured and to the point I have listened to! Such great insights into the world of flying! Absolutely brilliant!
I am also a real world pilot and I enjoy listening to your podcasts on my commute!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Really enjoy the pod, good episodes, to the point and made me feel much more comfortable in the air :)
This is a great podcast even if you are not a nervous air traveller. Series 3 gives the history and some very interesting background to the reasons behind many well known aviation accidents. Air accident investigation and lessons learned following these accidents led to improvements in aircraft design, pilot training and culture. The accident analysis by Grant, James and their guest pilots is enlightening and I highly recommend this series.
Am a frequent flyer, not a nervous flyer, but find the wide ranging topics and the simple but informative way that Grant and his guests is able to explain the physics of flying and life as a pilot in a major airline is the best I have found. For added reality, fun to listen to whilst flying :)
