  • So what if Jesus is a bisexual demon?

In reference to the performance of “Jesus Christ Superstar”, the only people who would have any reason to complain about how JC is portrayed are the composer and lyricist, and we haven’t heard a peep from across the pond from either of them!

  • Don’t agree with the bad feedback email jan 2019

Makes me feel like I’m part of a conversation with friends. I also like it that Dennis has more opportunity to speak as he is interesting and has a great dry humour. I like ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Non-Prophets, Episode 24.48.2 featuring Rob, Flabbergasted, & Stephen Harder
Q: Like, we are criticizing people for only like caring about this one thing and not caring about other things. Obviously, we do not all have the capacity to care about everything all the time, all at once. At what point in time is it okay for someone to say, I realize that there are bigger issues out in the world, but this is the one I'm going to focus on?
It's about personal capacity and recognizing that one can focus on an issue while acknowledging there are bigger problems.
The Non-Prophets, Episode 24.46.3 featuring Jimmy Jr., Flabbergasted, and Sofia Spina
Q: You brought this article up to our attention. What are people saying about her?
People are harshly criticizing her, labeling her negatively and even wishing harm upon her for exposing the failings of the churches.
The Non-Prophets, Episode 24.46.3 featuring Jimmy Jr., Flabbergasted, and Sofia Spina
Q: Sofia, how did this article strike you from that standpoint?
The article strikes a visceral emotional response, highlighting the heartbreaking nature of a starving child and the limited options many parents face.
The Non-Prophets, Episode 24.45.2 featuring Damien H., Trust but Verify, and Eli Slack
Q: But what actually is taking place, and the reason most people are leaving the church is they're realizing...
Eli emphasizes that churches find desperate people but shape them into something beneficial for the church rather than genuinely helping them.
The Non-Prophets, Episode 24.45.2 featuring Damien H., Trust but Verify, and Eli Slack
Q: But Trust, I do want to have a brief discussion with you on something that you mentioned before that bowling leagues can also create a community.
What I think Church does and what I think Joe Rogan is trying to point out is there's this kind of whole life or very holistic kind of support.
