  • 10 Minutes of Ads!!

There were 10 minutes of ads BEFORE the start of this weeks’ episode! I understand you need to do ads but my word that is ludicrous! I guess you are trying to drive people crazy with your ads so they end up paying $12 a month so they don’t have ads. Well sorry not paying that. You might just drive more listeners away.

  • Listened for years

I have been a listener for probably 8 years. But after hearing Jamie talk this week about how you can “be too Jesus-ey” I am just done. There have been so many things said over the past 5 years that are unbiblical, border-lining on heresy, that I have already decreased my listening. But today I have decided to no longer toe the line and unsubscribe. Tired of supporting lukewarm Christians like Jamie and Erin. I am sad bc I do still like Knox a lot and I appreciate his sense of humor. But a weekl... more

  • Lost the sparkle

I have been a delighted listener for years and I’ve been happy to be a paid subscribe to support the Popcast staff. The last year has been a drag…all of the sparkle and fresh takes are gone. I stopped being a paid subscriber this year because the content isn’t fresh and it feels like Knox and Jamie are no longer having fun. If you guys don’t want to be here, neither do we.

I occasionally check back in on the regular feed only to be served 10 minutes of ads/internal Popcast promos at the beginn... more

  • I used to love the podcast

I used to love this podcast, it was the first podcast I subscribed to via patreon because I wanted to support the work they do, but now it just gives me the ick. I used to find them funny and found some really great movies and shows on their recommendation but I just can’t stand behind What Jamie says these days. It’s exhausting to listen to her try to keep up with what counter-cultural group that she is supposed to be making fun of. It has become a 20 minute episode of her making fun of anyone ... more

  • Ads make it FREEEEE

The Popcast is smart and fun! Some of these reviews are taking themselves too seriously. Ever read the Bible? It’s brutal and has all kinds of shenanigan topics. Thanks for making us laugh! No notes :)
