It’s a really fascinating story - although it repeats itself quite a lot in still really intrigued and engrossed in the story itself. I just don’t know how they can have so many ads in this! It’s very disruptive to the storyline.
This seemed to jump all over the place and probably could have been cut down to a three part series. Editing was shocking - ad breaks cut in mid sentence, and I still had ads despite being a subscriber. Interesting story, but too repetitive in the telling,
It's really interesting but the way it jumps around is extremely confusing. The timeline is all over the place and it doesn't help that they repeat entire sections. Multiple times I would double check that I didn't accidentally start playing a past episode because I knew I had already heard a section played already...but no. That's just how it's organized
Don’t waste your time on this podcast that presents itself as “true crime” but turns out is only fiction - and poorly executed fiction. My first clue that the story is bogus - he left his precious dog with a woman who faked the births and deaths of twins. Who would do that?? Not a good ol’ country boy like Jared is supposed to be. I feel cheated by this horribly edited and written podcast.
Like many other people are saying, this story gets way too convoluted with too many ads, awkward and interruptive editing that make the ads burst into someone speaking mid sentence, repetitive “facts” that borderline recaps of the episode you just heard, on top of the fact that you have to fight to perceive the information hidden under the LOUD and unnecessary sound fx and background music. It’s cheesy and pretty ham-handed, it sounds like a bayou cartoon honestly, whether or not the story is tr... more
