I love that every time I open an episode I walk away 10x more educated. This podcast is entertaining & absolutely fantastic - who knew there was so much history just covered up because it didn’t look good?
This is great - lively, well researched discussion that is illuminating and fun. One of my go-to listens when cooking!
I love this podcast and Claire is an amazing host. I feel like every time I turn on this podcast to listen. I learned something new about why the world is the way it is. I especially loved the episode on 1960s Democrats, Terry Dolan, & Samuel Cummings. These episodes to me definitely epitomized the common complaint that we don’t learn enough modern history in school. Claire succeeds in bringing out the best entertaining values in all of the guests!
Honestly, love to learn about sucky guys and how they have impacted our lives past and present! Really great pod that takes a lot of care in its research and approach but also manages to be funny and fun to listen to
This show does such a great job of presenting history in an entertaining and approachable way! Always a fun listen, and it sends me down rabbit holes every time.
