  • Pretty Funny, Also 🤔

Good show. Undoubtedly the funniest of the “revolutions” podcasts. Lots of informative and insightful content. Though I fear they may never know the genius that is Wu Tang v Ninja (1985), aka Ninja Hunter.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

EP. 817: END OF THE YEAR TIR FUN RAISIN SHOW
Q: Stefan, you are the youngest on the screen right now. How do you feel about character like Nick Fuentes?
Fuentes is interesting, as people's problem with Trump is they vote for the show man, but then once he's in power, they actually want some politics.
EP. 816: TROUBLEMAKER: THE FIERCE, UNRULY LIFE OF JESSICA MITFORD ft. CARLA KAPLAN
Q: What prompted you to even want to write this book?
Kaplan sought a humorous female activist like Mitford to break the stereotype that women activists are always serious.
EP. 811: LAND OF WOLVES: SICARIO FILM REVIEW ft. RALPH LEONARD
Q: What did the sequel do to you?
The sequel is much more vulgar compared to the first film and plays into Trumpian tropes about immigration and the drug war.
EP. 812: THE LIMITS OF FAMILY ABOLITION ft. EVELINA JOHANSSON WILÉN
Q: What are the political and strategic limitations of family abolition as it's often presented?
The concept seems vague and lacks clear practical strategies, often oscillating between radical reforms and utopian visions.
EP. 812: THE LIMITS OF FAMILY ABOLITION ft. EVELINA JOHANSSON WILÉN
Q: Why has the idea of family abolition gained traction in certain corners of the left?
The COVID pandemic sparked a reconsideration of family structures as people faced isolation and saw reactionary movements threatening women's rights.
