I have been described as a beer podcast aficionado. Not by myself, but by those closest to me as well as a few of my greatest enemies. While I do not actually hold any legitimate certification of my aficionado-ness, you can trust that I am.
As an aficionado (despite any argument against the authenticity of the title), I stand firm in my opinion that the Barrel Chat is one of the best beer podcasts ever created. To be sure that my official opinion (albeit my unauthenticated and unauthorized un... more
I live in Indianapolis! It’s great to see a local show that talks about one of my favorite things.... beer. Cheers gents! 🤘🏻🍺
I enjoy every new episode and it’s a joy to listen to!!!
The show gets better every time. The host’s understanding of tasting notes and descriptions continue to evolve as well. I look forward to them getting involved with other states more often and branching out into liquor and wine. Cheers!
I love listening to these guys! They aren’t afraid to give you their real opinions, so I can actually trust their recommendations. They haven’t steered me wrong yet! The highlights on local beer and wine help me find new favorites and it’s really cool that they don’t just interview brewers, but other people in the industry for a more rounded insight. Keep up the great work!
Great podcast about local Indiana beers!
Great insight into what the craft brew industry is doing right now and what’s in the future of independent beer companies. Intelligent hosts who are passionate about what they’re talking about.
Mathew and Dustin bring on great guests mostly from the State of Indiana. They have a great lean to Barrel Aged beer or other alcoholic beverages and make sure that their shows are compelling even if you do not live near Indy.
I enjoy shows where people rate beers, but I prefer show where the hosts talk to brewers. Great conversations and great hosts. Cheers!
Highly recommend listening to this podcast. This is one of the best podcasts I’m currently subscribed too. The insight into the craft beer world is next to none. The hosts do a fantastic job asking the questions and conversing with the guests.
- friend from DrinkIN GeekOUT. Cheers!
This is seriously one of the best beer-centric podcasts on the planet. The hosts’ love for craft beer is infectious. If you like beer you have to subscribe.

Barrel Chat may only have a small number of episodes right now but the whole crew are veterans of a different craft beer podcast. They bring lots of insight about barrel aged beer and other beer and alcoholic beverages in general.
Great show, the hosts articulate their words real nice as well as fun interviews with guests. I’d chat over barrels any day with them.
