  • Stop suggesting other podcasts

The actual podcast is great but now multiple times a week I’m getting “you may like” where it’s putting full episodes of other random podcasts in my feed. I’m subscribing to get your content, not other podcasts. Ridiculous.

  • Please respect other people’s choices to be vegan

Was introduced to this podcast by my friend. I liked it first then started to notice snarky comments about vegan food like vegan butter by the host multiple times. Found his altitude towards vegan food obnoxious and disrespectful and I’m not even vegan

  • Please lay off vegans and vegetarians

Re: "Vegan nightmare" Please resist the temptation to imply that folks who choose to avoid animal products (whether for reasons related to compassion, concern for the planet or simple aesthetic preference) are nut-bucket extremists. FYI, I'm a vegan who can live with the idea of eating (minimally) sentient plants. I don't evangelize about veganism or mock people who are meat-eaters, and I'd appreciate your taking a more thoughtful approach to plant-based eating. Or how about this: Don't make va... more

  • Good topics, insufferable host

Love the topics, callins, and guests on this show. The host, on the other hand, is someone who thinks his opinion is always right and anything he doesn’t know anything about isn’t worth the time to learn. If I hear him proudly announce his “unique” recipe for an old fashioned (spoiler—he uses *gasp* bourbon AND rye! what a culinary genius!) one more time I will throw my phone at a wall. He just has such an outdated, boomer attitude towards food, cooking, culture, and good taste. He needs to reti... more
