  • Dave Penman soft interview

Whilst I normally enjoy Choppers weekly podcast. I think this weeks interview of David Penman from the FDA was a really soft interview. For me there was no follow up questions to some of his statements like all the increase in the civil service was mainly due to the increase in prison guards, which is absolute rubbish. A Quick google will tell you that although operational delivery was up 31% since 2016, policy was up 116% Digital and Data was up 152% OFGEM is up163% in just a year. I would expe... more

  • Brilliant insight, brutally chopped up.

Everything Hope touches is reliably excellent … but please lay the ads in more sympathetically. Thank you!

  • What’s with these ads?

Great podcast and great journalist in Hope. But on my, they’re squeezing the pips out of the 40 minutes or so, with several highly annoying 2 minute ads. As usual the ads are on a different volume level and I have to rip the ear pods out before my ear drums perforate. Why not have a 5 minute ads section at the beginning and leave the interviews free from interruptions? 3 stars instead of 5.
