I loved the language part. "Settler" is a word that implies simply living in a place. It feels rather benign, which is why the colonizers and imperialists are okay using it. I wish all they'd done was "settle" on our land. As a teacher, I love helping guide youth awareness around how normalized violent language is in US culture. The parents don't always like it, but we have to plant seeds. Thank you for the work you do! I enjoyed the musical choices, as well.
Over the years I have witnessed, with awe, the relentless efforts of Code Pink toward peace. It is such a pleasure to listen to so many different perspective about the struggles for peace in the world!! This Podcast is a must for anyone interested in the cause for peace and human dignity.
Great opportunity to experience again since I was there.
Thank you for bringing such thoughtful reason about peace into a conversation so long dominated by one war after another.
