  • Investigative and entertaining

Disregard the 1 star reviews: they are filled with laughable inaccuracies, and give off a strong aroma of malicious jealousy. The guests on this podcast are highly interesting, even if you are not familiar with them or their field of expertise. Mike Farris does a great job conducting, doesn’t interrupt, and comes across as a genuinely nice person. This podcast has become one of my faves. Don’t hesitate to tune in, you will be rewarded with great info and provocative thinking.

  • Disappointing podcast

Mike Farris has been running his podcast for over five years, and he scores some seriously awesome guests, which is why I’ve been a fan for nearly that long. But, the last year has been tough to stomach. Mike barely does any research, and his takes seem to just parrot whatever his latest guests were talking about. He doesn’t have the chops to push back when something sounds off, and his own comments are the same rehashed talking points every single episode.

  • Uninformed lame host

Host doesn’t research much at all and tends to spew uneducated nonsense instead of just listening to guest… It’s also recently become clear he doesn’t post in a timely fashion and topics can be outdated. Just doesn’t work for the topics discussed. Just a clown host who does ménage to get decent guests a third the time, but he talks over them and ruins it!

Vince Lanci #1300
Q: Do you see a scenario then, like say, DraftKings will buy a hotel in Las Vegas?
Absolutely, I mean, not tomorrow, but here's why, even if it's foolish, at some point, every growing industry gets so full of itself and wants to have a marquee place.
