    These can be great, when they’re focused and have relevant guests. Occasionally (the Repeater +3 ep) these thing veer into interviews with “some guy who booked Fugazi once and knows little about them” and “my son’s friend who’s never heard the band.” These are important records and I’m certain there are many pertinent interviewees who’d love to talk about the music. Also the occasional guest Ben is not cut out for this. On other occasions, though, these guys nail it and bring to life a great exp... more

My first encounter with anybody in Jawbox was meeting J Robbins as the bass player for Government Issue.

Our batting average was really pretty good. I'm glad that the last record over and out is as good as it is and I feel like we put out good records on both Touch and Go and AMREP.
