John gives a real world view of Karare without filters and speaks with a deep understanding, passion and experience. I agree with most of what he says and these podcasts have promoted a lot of thought. Having visited John back in 1995 from the UK I knew he was good but listening to these has now become a staple listen for me and I’d recommend to any Karateka!!
Great podcast John!!!
I only discovered this podcast a week ago, but it immediately became my favourite show. As someone who was active in the British karate scene in the 80s, it is great to hear about training at Crystal Palace and the personalities from that period, all of whom I am familiar with. I can’t wait to hear the next episode!
This is pure John. It will remind you why it was so much fun to train with him. Would have got 6-stars if they had a jingle for “Hanratty’s on karate”
