I love this podcast, particularly episode 81 where Grace taught me how to manage spiralling thoughts without running from them. Sitting with them, rather than racing off to do exercise to numb the emotions, allowed me to address how I was really feeling, relearn how to handle fear, and move forwards from barely surviving to thriving. It has helped me reboot my nervous system and I’m looking at the future with so much more ease. Thank you Grace!
Grace has been instrumental in my healing journey. Her calm and warm approach are so soothing. I believe her work will benefit many more to come.
So wonderful to listen to this. On my 20th month of Long Covid and have been working closely with an Occupational Therapist experienced in chronic illness management. She forwarded the episode to me because she noticed that we had been doing a large portion of the modalities Lindsay mentioned. Love the breakdown into 4 broad categories , will be helpful in the ongoing search for healing methods. Thanks for bringing her to the show!
I love how Grace takes a holistic approach to mental health and ties ALL the prices together, combining science with energetics, this podcast will enlighten and inform!
This podcast is truly one of a kind. Grace explains the latest in pain neuroscience and pain recovery in such a friendly easy to understand way, has such helpful tools, and such a wide array of interesting, knowledgeable guests. She manages to be completely non-dogmatic and open minded, while also really insisting on the possibility of full recovery from persistent pain, her own pain recovery story being a prime example. And she is so warm and compassionate. Give it a listen!
