Terrific podcast! So glad to see a spotlight on India, while the world is distracted by the rise of the far-right in Europe & America.
Narendra Modi & his BJP will be the death of democracy in India. Though I hope I’m proved wrong.
Hella good podcast series
Interesting story and learned something new. Widening lens and tying to current politics necessary I think but was done in a pretty flat and cursory way. Maybe it was the narrator? Listened to all episodes for completeness but wasn’t really ever drawn in. Had a book report feel. If narrator had a personal interest in story it didn’t really come across. Overall little disappointed as think story could have been told in a more compelling way with different storytellers.
10 minutes in and I could see where this was going- hard pass. Can we just hear an interesting story without partisanship?
