  • Good introduction to the series

This didn’t seem to have been sent all those months ago, so better late than never!

I felt the first one was a thorough introduction to the upcoming podcasts which I feel was a useful introduction to the presenters, myth busting, and historiography. I think it’s useful to know the background of presenters; including Dr Sarah Louise Miller who was very engaging about a clearly under researched topic and raised the issues of under represented women military historians. • More please

Really informative without being dry from two experts who interact really well together. I really like that they highlight the quirks and foibles of historians and how this affects the history they write being unfair or tabloidy in their approach

  • Military history and so much more

What a great podcast on military history and much more, covering the historiography as a living thing, opinionated in the best way, ranging widely thus proving context and new areas to explore. Very good chemistry between the hosts. With this and Oh What a Lovely Podcast and others, we are really well served - thank you!

  • A second chance.

Having been exposed to the chaps work though various media for a long time I was looking forward to this pod cast. I found the first proper episode unlistenable and turned off halfway through, I was expecting to be entertained and learn a bit, not sit through a tedious pub discussion about twitter.

Having said that I gave it a second chance and found the historiography episodes very interesting and entertaining, now listen regularly.
