I love hearing about other moms that go through stuff I go through, and whose kids are thriving when they are older. I need to hear more about older kids with autism, to understand how to support my own kid. Thank you so much for building this podcast!
Thank you for helping me find another niche of knowing where I fit in. You all started me in me in “adulting” listening to podcast! I’m a big girl now and am learning so much!
I am so thankful I found this podcast. Parenting a child with autism can be a very lonely road; but these ladies make me feel less alone and seen. This podcast has such a great mix of laughter, hope, honesty and wisdom. Take a listen you won’t regret it.
They have a handful of credible guests on, but most of their guests are pretty much quacks. They had a lady who stated her daughter’s brain was “broken”, which is terrible. Tash seems the most sane, she even went as far as to rebuke RFK’s claims about autistic people being a burden. Jean is involved in autistic advocacy and for awhile I felt was the only one other than Tash who made any sense but she has remained mum on this incredibly sensitive issue.
