I can feel Lisa’s passion for helping women recover from abuse. She’s angry and very direct because this is literally killing women.

Her personal anecdotes hit me so hard and I thank her for sharing them. I had that experience of taking to myself in the mirror trying to leave a trauma bond when I was eight years old. The trauma bond was with my abusive mom. The normalisation of abuse primed me for abusive relationships as an adult. I didn’t even realise what abuse meant until a few months ago. ... more

  • Excellent Take on Emotional Abuse

I’m a licensed therapist, as well as a fellow survivor of emotional abuse. Lisa’s deep dives are both insightful and accurate in terms of the insidious nature of psychological abuse, exposing the men (and the culture) that promote abuse of women beneath the mask of love and intimacy; Excellent and important work.

  • Great podcast!

I love how real Lisa is. She gets where we have been (or still are). It’s so refreshing to hear the truth. But in a positive way with advice to move fwd. Because nobody wants to be a victim.. but it often feels like there’s no hope against these ppl. It is very easy to get discouraged. But DON’T ..

Listen to this great platform , pray, and take your power back! You are not alone…

Thank you Lisa. I am sharing this with everyone I think can benefit.
