    I grew up evangelical in the 80-90s and wasn’t allowed to trick or treat, girls were shamed with purity culture, my youth group burned rockCDs, etc the church was obsessed with the “Devil” all the while pastors were embezzling money, deacons were abusing their wives and priest were molesting kids.
