CORRECTION: At one point in this episode, I say that the 2024 operating ref was "2m for curriculum, 8m for teachers, and 54.4m" to cover deficits. 8m for teachers is correct, but it was 4m for curriculum and 52.4m for deficits.

Definitely worth the listen. This is an excellent podcast that thoroughly explains and presents the research and evidence, including the data. Links included are helpful. To make a thoughtful response to the school district’s “ask”, I highly suggest this podcast.
100% recommend. The podcast helped me better understand complex policies and issues related to the Wauwatosa school system. The host is knowledgeable, factual and presents complicated topics in a concise and clear way. After listening, I have a dramatically better grasp on important concepts that affect my family, community and now am better informed to make confident choices when voting for the referenda.
This is a great listen for any parent in the Wauwatosa, or even Wisconsin, public school system. While the author shares his biases, the information he presents was not. I’m excited for the complete series!
