I love this pod. I’ve heard both Bj and Harmony on other pods and glad I found this one. The movies they cover are some of my all- time faves and the banter makes me happy. Shout out to Cleveland too. Even when you move away

    Cleveland never leaves you!

  • 🖤🖤🖤

As an avid listener to horror movie podcast it’s nice to have one that deals with my favorite movies as watched as a little gay boy with a sister. So much fun and so many good and interesting insights to films though I don’t always agree (ie the craft) I always leave each episode in a much better mood than I started. Also gotten a lot of new music from this show so thank you for that.

  • One of my favorites

My day always gets a little better when I get a notification that a new episode has dropped. The wives are hilarious and offer such in-depth discussions on films that don’t get a lot of respect. I wish I could rate them higher because they deserve more than 5 stars. Go join their patreon! 💚

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Can't Hardly Wait (1998) w/ Niko Stratis!
Q: What do you think of Amanda as a character?
She kind of doesn't really have a lot to do and is mostly an object of affection that has moved throughout the movie.
Can't Hardly Wait (1998) w/ Niko Stratis!
Q: What is it about this one that made you want to discuss it?
Partly it's the soundtrack because to me, I remember seeing this movie when it came out and its lasting influence in my life has been the soundtrack, which is incredible.
Can't Hardly Wait (1998) w/ Niko Stratis!
Q: Niko, how do you feel about this character?
It's like he is a wide-eyed dreamer who believes in fate and thinks that the fact that he has just like, lusted slash stalked a woman from afar for multiple years is what love is.
Loser (2000) 25 Years Later
Q: Why Loser?
It's the prototype of the kind of boy that I would grow up to be when I still was pretending I was a boy.
Rent (20th Anniversary)
Q: Is Rent asking you to the prom?
I'm going to send it on its own, I can't say no, and I certainly don't really want to revisit it.
