I came across Lynn’s podcast by chance and am very glad I did. She shares clear, down-to-earth advice on starting weight training in peri- and post-menopause, information which is also useful if you have been training for a while and want to get the best out of your sessions. I joined her Lift-Off program too. Lynn definitely makes the gym a less scary place!
Added bonus: her warm manner and lovely voice.
Found myself nodding along listening to Lynn’s most recent episode sharing all of the things we do and don’t have control over when it comes to how our bodies look. I appreciate how she simplifies the complicated with a very do-able workout plan! That makes it feel more practical and gives hope. 😄
Finally! Lynn explains why and how the fitness routines that were fine for us a decade or two ago, do not work anymore when menopause is in the room. So much clarity. 🙏
Glad to have discovered this podcast! This podcast was the turning point for me to finally dial down the cardio classes and dial up focused weightlifting with progressive overload. Thank you, Lynn, for explaining the science and also giving tips and tricks. Would love more tips and tricks (especially high protein ideas)
I really like this podcast a lot! I found myself at such a loss as to why I wasn’t gaining muscle. This podcast helped to to understand better what I needed to do (progressive overload, more protein, etc.). I’m starting to have results now. I’m starting to feel like a younger 56 year old!
