I’m no newcomer to this topic. I’m 70 years old and still living with the pain and trauma inflicted by my 96 year-old mother. I knew there were others like me, but it wasn’t until I listened to these podcasts that I realize I’m not alone. I’m so grateful to have found this sanctuary.
Content is very very important, but the non stop speaking without pauses or full stop is so stressfull to me, that it makes it very hard to listen to. The expert is a survivor herself and I guess she has a hard time slowing down, and speak from the “belly” core muscles and grounding. I will use the transcripts and or listen in small pieces.
This podcast has been so incredibly helpful in my healing journey. I just started listening to it recently, and it has really helped me to self reflect and understand everything that’s happening to me and has happened. Thank you so much for all of your wonderful insights.
I’ve never felt so seen, so not alone. What a blessing you are, Heather Gray. Phenomenal.
I discovered your podcast during an especially tumultuous time (starring my mother the victim, of course) and needed some additional support in between therapy appointments. I truly feel like I have stumbled upon something life changing with your content. Your show is the warm hug I’ve needed my entire life. Looking forward to connecting more with this community.
