  • Iodine Deficiency

I’ve been a listener for a long time and I appreciate this content very much. I would love for more practitioners to be speaking about iodine deficiency and history of de-iodizing our food in favor of bromine, and the significant negative impacts that the lack of iodine, in particularly women’s bodies, have on our ability to produce hormones properly.

  • Aminos when Fasting

Great episode on 1/20/26! I am a little confused on whether amino acids break a fast. There was an episode awhile back on 3 foods that stimulate autophagy, and on that episode you mentioned that aminos stop autophagy. But on the 1/20 episode you recommended taking aminos during a fasted state. Would that stop autophagy but still keep you in ketosis? I am a big fan of PerfectAmino tablets but now I’m wondering when I can take them and not break a fast. Thank you so much!

I’m part way through reading fast like a girl and listening to your posts etc.

Started thinking about age like a girl and found these podcasts. I’m 66yrs young.
