  • Frustratingly unhelpful

Very disappointed. Listening to this to try to get info as a busy mom of an unwell kid and half the content is (repetitively!) “go download our ebook” or “check out our post on this on social media.” I’m listening to these podcasts to try and get the information, not to be sent somewhere else.

Also agree with another review that it feels extremely self promotional.

I understand letting people know where they can find more info, and that this is partially a promotional podcast - but there’s a b... more

  • Great Listen but…

I really love this podcast and find myself binging on episodes from time to time however some of the newer episodes are seeming more & more promotional in content with no real takeaway from the episode. The older ones are great.

Q: Can you explain to us why food labels are often misleading, even when they seem like they've got a lot of detail or they seem healthy?
There's actually no expectation of a food producer to test the nutrients in their food, meaning that what is listed may not even reflect the current nutritional content of the ingredients.
Episode 235: Exposing Greenwashing & Nutrition Washing in Packaged Foods: What the Labels Aren’t Telling You with Dr Hayley Dickinson

Greenwashing is that sort of language that makes us think that we're doing an environmentally positive thing, while nutrition washing involves misleading health claims on packaging.
Episode 207: Parenting Kids Who Are Struggling with ADHD-Based Behaviours with Ashley Gobeil
Q: So where do you recommend that parents start when wanting to help their kids with ADHD?
