In ranging conversations that cover everything from the creative process to his guest’s guiltiest pleasures, Dave and a rotating cast of smart, thought-provoking guests talk abou... more

Listened every episode since 2019 and loved the deep dive talks or anything but with the recent cooking episodes its unlistenable!!! Its just pots banging around and the sound of oil sizzling for 30s at a time with talk that makes no sense or sounds like youre commentating on something not there. Dont shoehorn video in an audio listening format to promote random shows
It’s not the same without you guys bantering
What an amazing conversation, they talked about cooking, writing, low self-esteem and therapy; this episode felt like I was in a therapy session!! The conversation was open, honest, authentic, and inspiring! I want to re-listen again and again, and take notes!! Go listen to it—do it now!!!
I’ve been listening to your podcast every day, trying to catch up to hear all the episodes and I already found everything you speak of is educational and inspiring and relatable. Listening to just the bio on Roy Choi‘s episode gave me chills, while I am on a run in Texas summer 100° heat. But then hearing how he’s a late bloomer and having to provide after getting into cooking late in the game is literally my experience as an Asian American chef/new mom as well. Look up to you guys more than you... more
Tune in for the interesting perspectives on food culture and the restaurant industry. Tune out the episodes about nutrition science.

She repeatedly sidesteps any questions that don’t feed into the narrative she’s spinning, and only answers the softballs. I’ve enjoyed other i... more
